Fossilization

What is Fossilization?

The definition of fossilization is the process of conversion of matters into fossils. There are many types of fossils resulting from different types of fossilization process.

Fossils come in many different varieties. Each type of fossil is the result of a different fossilization process, and each tells paleontologists something unique about the material preserved.

Who are paleontologists?

paleontologists are scientists who study fossils and fossilization

In this Fossilization experiment science project you will replicate five different types of fossilization and learn why each type of fossilization is important.
