If the elementary school science fair project is part of a competition, the judges will look at it and the other science fair experiments and evaluate them. On the next day, you may be invited to talk with the judges and tell them about your elementary school science fair project. Then the prizes are awarded to the students with the best science fair projects in each categary. The public is encouraged to come and see all the elementary school science fair project exhibits. Afterwards,  you take your science experiment exhibit home.
